In the world of education, Australia’s reputation is strong and consistent. With a robust education system in Australia and a fair tuition fee structure, the country’s education is among the best in the world. Across Australia, 37 public universities are funded by the government, and two private colleges are funded by the government. Specialist institutions are also located across the country. Seven of the 26 Australian institutions of the top 100 of the 2022 QS World University Rankings are located in Australia. This is followed closely by Australian National University, which is ranked 27th. On the next highest list are the University of Melbourne and the University of Sydney, both ranked 37th and 38th, respectively. There are also many universities that are international student-based.
Under this program, scholarships are offered in conjunction with the Departments of Education and Foreign Affairs, as well as the Australian Center for International Agricultural Research. Asian, Middle Eastern, Pacific, and African students are eligible for these awards. Besides full tuition, OHSC, return air travel, and establishment allowance, it also covers all living expenses.
